Mastering the EEO-1 Process 

 
We recently hosted a comprehensive EEO-1 webinar designed to help employers and HR professionals master every step of building and submitting their annual EEO-1 report. This included everything from initial data preparation to the final online filing with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

During the session, our experts provided a clear EEO-1 overview, explaining what the report is and why it matters for compliance. We specifically covered the filing requirements, noting that private employers with 100 or more employees and federal contractors with 50 or more employees must file.

Attendees received a detailed walk-through of using ONEHCM tools, learning how to access and review EEO reports by navigating to Team > Reports > HR Maintenance > EEO Classification. A significant portion of the webinar focused on data validation best practices, including verifying employee information, resolving “unknown” entries, and ensuring EEO fields are required in your database for future accuracy.

Finally, we detailed the process of Form Creation and Submission, guiding participants on how to populate, export, and electronically file their report through the EEO-1 Component 1 Online Filing System. The detailed walk-through and practical examples will help you keep your EEO-1 reporting accurate and compliant this year.
